Open Window is a publication showcasing the various work of Korean students created in the English classroom. Our aim is to highlight our students’ accomplishments by featuring their work in the print/web editions of Fulbright Korea Infusion Magazine and on our very own website.
Open Window was created in Fall 2014 by Fulbright English Teaching Assistants (ETAs) Benjamin Harris (2014-2016) and Judith Foo (2014-2015). It was initially created as a means to feature creative student work online, but continues to expand its scope and the variety of work received. Open Window was also established to help and encourage Fulbright ETAs to incorporate creative writing activities into their lessons.
Our team accepts artwork (including photography, drawings, paintings), creative English work (including fiction, nonfiction, and poetry), and multimedia projects (including videos, digital art, spoken word, music). Students are not just limited to the creative means listed above.
Pieces can be submitted via our Submission Form. This opportunity is open to students from all over Korea, with priority given to students from Fulbright-affiliated schools.
Work published previously in Infusion can be seen here.
